At the Chinese School of Connecticut, we set a theme for each quarter. Students not only learn the language, but also experience various theme based activities.

2012暑期的主題是“社会生活”。

This summer's theme is Social Life. Students will learn and discuss topics over school routine, my day, holidays, my town, career, transportation, and information technology.

2012秋季的主題是“写字艺术”。

The theme for the fall quarter is The Art of Hand Writing & Calligraphy. Students will be trained standard hand writing using pencil and fountain pen, and will practice calligraphy using Chinese traditional writing instruments.

2012-2013冬季的主題是“神奇数学”。

The theme for the winter quarter is Fun Math. Based on students age, classes from pre-k to lower elementary grades, will be taught math, including time, money, .

2013春季的主題是“音乐之声”。

The theme for the spring quarter is The Sound of Music.Students will learn Chinese traditional songs, school songs, theme songs of movies & TV series, and holiday songs.

Future quarterly themes are: Fine Art, Science, Physical & Health, History, Geography, and more.
